LPL Twilight Party and Fundraiser
Tuesday, November 13 from 7-9pm

Support the Library, have fun and win prizes! The first 50 people will receive a free snack hour appetizer. Prizes at 8:30pm include free movie passes, free pizzas, certificates and library prizes.
Special items on the menu have been renamed and highlighted in honor of the movie Twilight - Breaking Dawn Part 2 including Fanpires Fundue (Shrimp and Crab Fun-Doo) • Oh My Edward Smoothie (Strawberry Smoothie) • Cullins Coctail (Blood Orange Cocktail) • Twilighters Tacos (Make Your Own Tacos.)
If you can’t make the party, bring a dough rai$er coupon in anytime on the 13th and the Library gets up to 20% of the check. Coupons are available in the library or you can download the Dough Rai$er Coupon.

Step back into the Middle Ages and the Renaissance with theBarony of Delftwood. Roam the stations and learn about daily life in medieval Europe.
Topics will include: Music, Dancing, Armored Combat, Fencing, Hats, Beekeeping, Clothing, Glass Beads, Walnut Ink, Illumination & Calligraphy, and more!

Members of the Barony of Delftwood will provide an interactive program where participants are free to leisurely roam and stop in at different stations to learn about a variety of medieval European topics.
Topics will include: Music, Dancing, Armored Combat, Fencing, Hats, Beekeeping, Clothing, Glass Beads, Walnut Ink, Illumination & Calligraphy, and more!
Saturday, June 2
10am-3pm • Side Lawn
Perennials, herbs, annuals, and unusual plants will be for sale. Staff member Alan NaPier, who maintains the library flower beds and container gardens, will be available to answer questions. The Friends will offer a good selection of gently-used books for plant lovers. Dig in!
The drawing for the Adirondack chair will be around 2:45pm, so you still have plenty of time to get tickets!
All proceeds benefit the Friends of Liverpool Library.
Folk Music Duo Salty Pink Appears on Radio LPL
Russ Tarby interviews Salty Pink’s Leah Houghtaling and Amelia Sauter on Radio LPL’s Local Artist Spotlight, which airs daily at 1pm and 7pm. Banjo player Houghtaling and bassist Sauter will share their talents when they perform in the library’s Fifth Annual Folk Music Series on Sunday, April 22 at 2pm in the library’s Carman Community Room.
Leah and Amelia, also peform as The Black Eyed Susies, along with Jiamie Pyles on guitar, an all-girl old-time/Americana string band that has been lassoing audiences with their original and traditional lonesome cowgirl tunes and exquisite three-part harmonies.

Local Artist Spotlight interview with Nick Piccininni
Russ Tarby interviews Nick Piccininni on Radio LPL’s Local Artist Spotlight, airing daily at 1pm and 7pm. Piccininni, who performs on banjo, guitar, bass, fiddle, mandolin, and Dobro, will kick off the library’s Fifth Annual Folk Music Series on Sunday, January 15 at 2pm in the Caman Community Room.
